Deuteronomy 6:6-7
1 John 4:13
YAHWEH(GOD) SPEAKS OF YESHUAH(JESUS) IN GENESIS The five books of Moses are liberally sprinkled with symbolic references to that of YESHUAH who is JESUS in the English translation of the Greek). YAHWEH(YHWH) spoke of YESHUAH (JESUS) in Genesis 3:15. YHWH said 5 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring[e] and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” YAHWEH had a plan of salvation for us when Adam and Eve sinned and Satan fully understood it with the above-mentioned verse. YAHWEH knew that HIS SON would be the plan for propitiation of our sins (1 John 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.). to bring mankind back to YHWH despite the fall of disobedience committed by Adam & Eve. So, this is clearly Biblical scripture being shown to be not only a symbolic but an actual reference to YESHUAH as our Savior at the very beginning of man’s existence in the Garden of Eden. YESHUAH made it clear to the Pharisees when HE told them if they believed Moses then they would believe HIM because Moses wrote about HIM.( John 5:46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me). Unfortunately, the Pharisees could not comprehend what YESHUAH meant because HE did not fit their concept of what their Messiah should be. Many were looking for a Messiah to come and rescue them from the control of Roman Rule over them and establish a kingdom like the previous Kings did prior to YESHUAH’s arrival. Had they studied the scriptures in detail then they would have known that YESHUAH was the Messiah that was written about in the Torah or Pentateuch (1st five books of the Old Testament-OT). There are many types and shadows that point directly to YESHUAH in the OT. Let’s take a look at Genesis 22. Here YAHWEH gives an example of the sacrifice of HIS Son YESHUAH as a sacrifice for our sins as HE promised in Genesis 3:15. YAHWEH commanded Abraham to offer up His Son Isaac as a sacrifice to HIM YAHWEH which also symbolized the sacrifice of YESHUAH. Genesis22:1 After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” Genesis22 :2 2 HE said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” However, YAHWEH was testing Abraham’s faith to see if he loved HIM enough to complete this commandment out of love and faith. Abraham did in deed do what YAHWEH(GOD) had told him to do. However, YAHWEH(GOD) sent HIS Angel to stop Abraham from harming Issac. Genesis 22: 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”8 Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together. Instead YAHWEH(GOD) provided a ram in the thickets right near the place that Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac to YAHWEH. Genesis 22: 9 When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10 Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. 11 But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 11 But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 12He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called the name of that place, “The LORD will provide”;[b] as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” As Abraham committed His Son Isaac to be sacrificed out of love so did our Heavenly Father YAHWEH(GOD) commit and sacrifice HIS SON YESHUAH. The point of carrying out sacrificial love for Abraham allowed for sparing Issac and sacrificing YESHUAH demonstrates volumes of love as did our Heavenly Father YAHWEH(GOD) but it also demonstrates the future sacrifice of our savior YESHUAH and sparring us from eternal separation from our Heavenly Father YAHWEH(GOD). Both Issac and YESHUAH willingly laid down their lives as both Abraham and our Heavenly Father YAHWEH(GOD) committed to act in both situations of sacrificial love of Abraham, Issac and for us. This act by Abraham was a shadow that our Heavenly Father YAHWEH(GOD) allowed that spoke of the sacrifice of HIS SON YESHUAH who would save the world as our savior if we demonstrate our faith in HIM by accepting the free gift of eternal life offered by accepting YESHUAH as our Savior and Lord over our lives and choosing to walk as HE did to the best of our ability according to the word of the Holy Bible until we leave this earthly life. So here we see Moses indeed spoke of YESHUAH when He wrote the Books of Genesis and Exodus. If we would only take time to study our Holy Bibles(i.e: The Truth & Word of our Heavenly Father YAHWEH(GOD) we would indeed see of YESHUAH WHOM IS written about in the OT. As we continue on in our journey of seeing where YESHUAH was written about in the OT, we see in Exodus 12 where YESHUAH was symbolized as our Passover lamb. (Exodus 12 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, 2 (A) “This month shall be for you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year for you. 3 Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb (B)according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household. 4 And if the household is too small for a lamb, then he and his nearest neighbor shall take according to the number of persons; according to what each can eat you shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats, 6 and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month, when the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill their lambs at twilight. 7 “Then they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat it. 8 They shall eat the flesh that night, roasted on the fire; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Do not eat any of it raw or boiled in water, but roasted, its head with its legs and its inner parts. 10 And (H)you shall let none of it remain until the morning; anything that remains until the morning you shall burn. 11 In this manner you shall eat it: with (I)your belt fastened, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the LORD's Passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on (L)all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: (M) I am the LORD. 13 The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt. 14 “This day shall be for you a memorial day, and you shall keep it as a feast YHWH; throughout your generations, as a statute forever, you shall keep it as a feast. A lamb used for Passover must be without fault or blemish which demonstrates being sinless. YESHUAH our savior and Lord was and remains sinless in the sacrifice for our sins. YESHUAH is our Passover lamb that was referenced in the OT that Moses wrote about. YESHUAH died on Passover day as YESHUAH told His Disciples that HE would do in order to become our Passover lamb for our salvation to join us back to YHWH GOD because, our sins separated us from YHWH GOD and eternal life. before YESHUAH became our Savior and propitiation for our sins. If we continue on this journey of seeing YESHUAH in the OT, we see in Deuteronomy 15:18-19 that Moses prophesied about YESHUAH that was to come and would be greater than himself and that satisfied the people’s request for a Savior. Moses let the people of Israel know whom their future King and Savior would be but they would have to have faith that HE would indeed appear but not when they wanted Him to appear but in ( YHWH GOD’S) time. When YESHUAH appeared, this prophecy was fulfilled. In addition, YESHUAH spoke about HIMSELF being the bread of life. The Jewish leaders that spoke to YESHUAH didn’t understand that the spiritual bread that YHWH SENT FROM HEAVEN was HIS only begotten Son that would sustain all whom received Him with eternal life and not just temporary sustenance to satisfy one’s hunger. The manna that Moses wrote about was bread that had to be provided daily because the people’s physical hunger was never satisfied. But once a person tasted the spiritual bread then that person will never hunger again. The spiritual bread is the word of YHWH (i.e. Yeshuah Jesus) because He is the word that became flesh and dwelt among us as the scriptures says. When we accept read and study God’s word then we have our souls feed and live forever. YESHUAH speaks of this in John 6:58:8 8 (A)This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread[a] the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” So, this is the promise given to us when we eat (i.e. read, study & meditate on) the word of YHWH GOD which is also of YESHUAH. Yeshuah also solidified this by speaking the following scripture: John 6:35 Jesus said to them, (AP) “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. 3 So the above-mentioned scriptures show without a doubt that Yeshuah was indeed written and prophesied about in the OT. Remember the Holy Bible interprets and bears witness to itself with its own scriptures. We will cover a few more OT prophecies that spoke of YESHUAH. Please keep in mind that there are numerous prophecies written about YESHUAH in the OT but for sake of brevity, you can discover them on your own through Bible study and asking the HOLY SPIRIT (RUACH HAKODESH) TO reveal them to you. YESHUAH is also spoken about in the Book of Psalms. In Psalm 2:7-9
;Psalm 22 YHWH (GOD) clearly speaks of HIS SON of YESHUAH . Psalm 2:7 7 I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, (K) “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. 8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and (L) the ends of the earth your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. YHWH (GOD) clearly speaks about HIS SON YESHUAH and how HE will rule his kingdom when HE comes back to earth the second and final time to seek justice and judgement. Please also keep in mind that King David was given visions by the HOLY SPIRIT to be able to write the Psalms and the ones that described YESHUAH; s status and death. Psalm 22 clearly describes YESHUAH’s death before HE was even born. Please read it and see all the details of the crucifixion foretold in Psalm 22. Psalm 22 English Standard Version (ESV) Why Have You Forsaken Me? To the choirmaster: according to The Doe of the Dawn. A Psalm of David. 22 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning? 2 O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer, and by night, but I find no rest. 3 Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. 4 In you our fathers trusted; they trusted, and you delivered them. 5 To you they cried and were rescued; in you they trusted and were not put to shame. 6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by mankind and despised by the people. 7 All who see me mock me; they make mouths at me; they wag their heads; 8 “He trusts in the LORD; let him deliver him; let him rescue him, for he delights in him!” 9 Yet you are he who took me from the womb; you made me trust you at my mother's breasts. 10 On you was I cast from my birth, and from my mother's womb you have been my God. 11 Be not far from me, for trouble is near, and there is none to help. 12 Many bulls encompass me; strong bulls of Bashan surround me; 13 they open wide their mouths at me, like a ravening and roaring lion. 14 I am (Y)poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like (wax; it is melted within my breast; 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my jaws; you lay me in the dust of death. 16 For dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet— 17 I can count all my bones— they stare and gloat over me; 18 they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots. 19 But you, O LORD, do not be far off! O you my help, come quickly to my aid! 20 Deliver my soul from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog! 21 Save me from the mouth of the lion! You have rescued me from the horns of the wild oxen! 22 I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise you: 23 You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you offspring of Jacob, glorify him, and stand in awe of him, all you offspring of Israel! 24 For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, and he has not (AT)hidden his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him. 25 From you comes my praise in the great congregation; my vows I will perform before those who fear him. 26 The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the LORD! May your hearts live forever! 27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. 28 For kingship belongs to the LORD, and he rules over the nations. 29 All the prosperous of the earth eat and worship; before him shall (BF)bow all who go down to the dust, even the one who could not keep himself alive. 30 Posterity shall serve him; it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation; 31 they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn, that he has done it. If we look further in Psalm 110 then we can see YHWH(GOD) describing himself and HIS SON YESHUAH sitting together in Heaven. Please read Psalm 110. Psalm 110 English Standard Version (ESV) Sit at My Right Hand A Psalm of David. 110 The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” 2 The LORD sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies! 3 Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your (J)power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours.[c] 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” 5 The Lord is at your right hand; he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath. 6 He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will (shatter chiefs[d] over the wide earth. 7 He will drink from the brook by the way; therefore he will lift up his head, As we journey through the OT We find that the Prophets that YHWH sent to warn the two houses of ISRAEL & JUDAH about YESHUAH coming to save them and providing for them eternal life. The prophet Zechariah wrote about YESHUAH BEFORE HE was crucified and arrested in the garden and brought before the Jewish leaders during Passover. YESHUAH studied and knew the OT(TANAKH) To include the Bible scripture about himself. Here YESHUAH quoted the Prophet Zechariah prophesying about HIS crucifixion as follows: Mark 14:27 ESV And Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ Zechariah 13:7 ESV [ The Shepherd Struck ] “Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands next to me,” declares the LORD of hosts. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones. At this point the HOLY SPIRIT has lead me to stop writing and to allow you to take this information to investigate for yourself and do more research in your own biblical study of What YESHUAH was clearly spoken and written about in the OT.
