WHAT IS RIGHTOUSNESS?
WHAT IS Righteousness? AS a true believer in YESHUAH(JESUS) and a child AND BELIEVER of the Most HIGH YAHOVAH(YHVH) GOD, we are clothed in the Righteousness that we received from accepting the gift of salvation from our Savior YESHUAH(JESUS) HaMASHIAC (JESUS THE CHRIST). Matthew 6:33 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.). When we seek
Our Father’s kingdom first as a true believer then Righteousness will be added to us and all things that we need physically and spiritually! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS GIFT OF righteousness is a gift and cannot be earned through ourselves and human abilities!
We have to continue in our daily walk with YESHUAH(JESUS) and YAHOVAH(YHVH) GOD to keep this righteousness gift until we see our Savior YESHUAH(JESUS) HAMASHIAC when he returns to reward His brothers and Sisters and those who have the spirit of error in them instead of the Ruach HaKodeh (Holy Spirit) in them. 2 Corinthians 4:14 14 because we know that he who raised the Lord YESHUAH(JESUS) will also raise us with YESHUAH(JESUS) and bring us along with you into his presence.
In the beginning man had righteous given to him as a gift until he (Adam)transgressed and sinned by becoming disobedient.( Genesis 3:11-12, 9“9 But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?”[d] 10 And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.” 11 He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” 12 The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.”). Here Adam clearly transgressed and lost the COVERING of righteousness. . being covered in righteousness Adam should not have been afraid of His FATHER YAH! Before YAH’s gift of salvation we were clothed in sin that we received from our earthly father Adam!. Adam did not lie and he confessed his transgression and disobedience to His and Our FATHER YAHOVAH(YHVH) ! Our FATHER YAH banished Adam from the Garden of but didn’t leave him alone due to his disobedience to YAHWEH. Adam displayed his faith when he confessed and acknowledged his sin. FATHER YAHOVAH(YHVH) still blessed Adam by blessing him with offspring (i.e. sons). One of Adam’s Sons pleased YAHOVAH(YHVH) THROUGH FAITH AND LOVE. (Genesis 3:4) 4 and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And YAHOVAH(YHVH) GOD had regard for Abel and his offering which shows that our FATHER YAH’s forgiveness and hope to restore mankind to righteousness. Our FATHER also prophesied about giving Adam and Eve and the future of mankind a second chance of righteousness IN ABRAHAM through faith by FATHER YAH. Genesis 15:5-:6.” 5 And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 6 And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness. Abraham received righteousness by his faith in YAH & his word to include showing his obedience as well.! We receive the gift of salvation and righteousness when we accept YeSHUAH(JESUS) HAMASHIAC (JESUS CHRIST)as our Savior for eternal salvation by faith as well. Just saying that we believe is not faith. We accept the gift of salvation by accepting who YESHUAH(JESUS) is and our ONLY hope for eternal life when we hear this good news, accept it and live our lives as He did. We are to try our best to live our lives in faith in freedom that we received when we accepted the gift of salvation when we heard, believed, accepted it by acting in faith of acceptance. So ,how do we demonstrate our faith you are probably asking? Let’s turn to the Bible’s book of James to find out. In addition, you can also read in the above-mentioned scriptures what faith is. Both in the Old and New testaments cover faith in detail. We have to pray for discernment from YAH to understand the Holy Bible’s book of James2:14-26 this before reading Our FATHER YAH’s word. Here is what James2:14-26 says about faith 18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! 20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. 24 You see that a person is justified by worksAND FAITH and not by faith alone. 25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead. By accepting the gift of Salvation and doing what Our FATHER YAH and YESHUAH(JESUS)H have commanded us to do we are demonstrating our faith daily by our works along with faith until we leave this earth. Being heirs of Abraham when we accept the gift of Salvation from YAH through His SON YeSHUAH(JESUS), we demonstrate our faith by walking as YESHUAH(JESUS) did and keeping our FATHER YAH’S commandments. YESHUAH(JESUS)’S commandments are YAH’s commandments too. YESHUAH(JESUS) made it clear that when he speaks that he speaks on behalf of His Father. (John 8:28): 28 So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. 29 And he who sent me is with me. So, you who have received the gift of Salvation have also received righteousness as a gift through you faith as well. Also, those who studying this inspired teaching by YAH, you too will receive salvation and righteousness when YAH leads you to His Son YESHUAH(JESUS) to receive the gift of Salvation in your hearts through faith. Please take this teaching and Biblical scriptures to your prayer closet and ask our FATHER YAH for discernment in YESHUAH(JESUS)HS’s Holy name to test them for the truth that He is sharing in this lesson. 1 THESSALONIANS 21 but test everything; hold fast what is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:21*22 Abstain from every form of evil.
Hebrews 11:6 6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. 7 By faith Noah, (Hebrews 11:6) being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. We are also heirs of righteousness through our faith in YAH and accepting His SON’s gift of salvation! YAH’s plan to restore righteousness TO ALL was completed in His SON YESHUAH(JESUS) HAMASHIAC! Genesis (3:14-15): Adonai, God, said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and wild animals. You will crawl on your belly and eat dust as long as you live. 15 I will put animosity between you and the woman, and between your descendant and her descendant; he will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.” YAH’s plan to restore righteousness TO ALL was completed in His SON YESHUAH(JESUS) HAMASHIAC! Also, Abraham received righteousness through his faith in YAH! Even though Abraham was born and lived before YAH’s plan of salvation through HIS SON was fulfilled, he indeed received righteousness through his faith in YAH!
